Central America

Central America is one of the most biologically diverse regions in the world. Thanks to the Panama Canal, it is now the geographical link between North and South America (Panama is considered part of both continents). A considerable portion of Central America speaks Spanish, but there are also rich indigenous populations speaking a myriad of different dialects within the area.
